What a month it has been! I can’t say that enough. No matter how busy or packed the days are, there’s always something that stands out as memorable and worth looking back on. And so, before this month comes to an end, let’s take a look at what made June special. Here is our monthly round-up of TSM’s Favorite Things :
New York City
I’m away on a quick holiday and this post begins in one of my favorite cities in the world : New York. The food has been great and we’ve been visiting a lot of places (I’ll talk about all those soon!) But the best part is, I am taking this break so I can finally spend that much needed quality time with the family.
*Mummies, remember that it’s good to spoil ourselves once in a while. Don’t feel guilty about taking these short breaks from your usual, crazy routines back home! You deserve to be spoiled too! 🙂
Linda Farrow Gallery
Luxury eyewear boutique Linda Farrow Gallery opened in Manila recently and I was able to attend their big launch. The store features collaborations with global brands and designers as well as their very own Linda Farrow Luxe collection.
I am a girl who loves her sunglasses (I bring at least 4 pairs in a trip!) and I am telling you, I found so many stylish designs here to choose from! I’m thinking these gold aviators may actually be my best pair yet. What do you guys think?
Check them out at : The Shops at the Boulevard, City of Dreams, Manila.

K-Palette Eyebrow and Eyeliner Pencils
I can’t live without my eyeliner and eyebrow pencil… they are my basic necessities! My favorite, to date, is from K-Palette—lasts all day and does not smudge at all, no matter how hot and humid it is during the day. It’s so easy to use, which is great, given how packed my schedule usually is. As moms (no matter how busy we may be) we should still look presentable even amidst our daily chaos, right? 😉
K-Palette is available at Beauty Bar.
Grace Home Notebooks
If you work with me, you’d notice that I write everything down. Writing on paper is not just for special occasions —it’s a necessity! I’m so glad that the Grace Home Notebooks are finally here and they’re so me! There’s the more girly version in pink-and-white stripes and the more sophisticated one in black-and-white stripes (both with gold stamp on the cover). Both are spiral-bound, with premium, unlined, quality paper inside. They made their debut at the Grace Home Trunk Show, and just in time too! They literally arrived from production a day before the event. Good news is, it’s still available for orders!

Grace Home Trunk Show
Of course, I cannot omit the highlight of my month (and of my year, so far!)—the Grace Home Trunk Show that was held at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel. I’ve spoken about it many times but I’m telling you, it still feels surreal that it actually happened. It is a dream come true and what a wonderful turnout, with all my thanks to those who made this dream a happy reality! The event showcased the hard work of the past months, housing the first line of Grace Home products. The event gathered friends, old and new, under one roof. (See the Instagram photos of those who went here, a recap here, and the photo album on Facebook here.)
And that’s it for the first half of the year! I wonder what’s in store for the rest of 2015? If the last months were any indication, we can look forward to more interesting finds and time spent pursuing our passions.
